(insert something witty)

So my birthday is coming up. Meh. I've now realized why my parents never got excited about their birthdays when I was younger. It's not like I have some horrible fear of getting old. I don't neccessarily feel old. I just don't particularly care. As long as I get to spend some time with my friends I'm good. Hell, I even forgot to ask for something specific for a present from my family.

What does weird me out is that I am now older than both of my parents were when they got married, and in little over a year I'll be older than my mom was when she had me.
